I found my phone! YAY! Two days missing and it feels that my arm was cut off. How did I find it? Well, my dad called me this morning to wish me a happy birthday and I was in the same room. :P

Yesterday after work I recieved a phone call from Kid and he was saying how he was sorry that we hadn't found the right dog for me for my birthday and how bad he felt. I ran over a squirrel today. I'm so, so upset. I've never killed an animal before, well except for this one time in FL I ran over a frog, but he was suicidal as he was facing right and everyone knows they'll jump in the direction that they're facing, right? A patient farted in my exam room today and it was one of those ninja farts; silent but deadly. 9_9 The smell was horrible and he didn't even acknowledge that he did it even though we were both very aware of the giant smelly pink elephant in the room.

I actually had to spray down my room afterwards. DX

Of working while everyone else is on a DONSA = Day Of No Scheduled Activities.

Pros:
º Light work all day
º Can catch up on stuff
º Can be online and read LJ

Cons:
º Light work all day makes the day drag
º You get so lazy when you do have a patient you don't feel like getting up and screening them.

That's got me in this kind of funk. The past couple of days have been beautiful sunshine and nice cool breezes, now it's back to being cold and gray. In WA I can handle it because it's a constant state in the winter but the wishy-washy of TN is driving me insane and I'm going from happy to morse in 2.5 seconds flat ( Read more... )

The snow and ice is finally melting and the streets have now become a war zone. The tops of the naked trees are covered in ice and as they melt and the breeze kicks in they're attacking anything and everthing in their sites. Realizing this I gave them a wide breadth.
